NOTE:

You will receive an email response within 48hrs of your booking request. If you have not received this please check your junk mail folders.
There is limited mobile service at the camping ground so all bookings should be made prior to leaving Tumut mobile reception area.
You will be unable to access the camping ground without the access code provided in your booking confirmation email.

Cancellations of Bookings

If your booking is due to commence within 48 hours:

Please SMS the Ranger on 0458 689 756 as soon as possible to advise of your cancellation including the name the booking was made in & the date of your stay ready.

Outside of 48 hours:

Please email the Ranger at TBTCampsite@outlook.com including ‘Cancelation request’ in the subject line & the Name the booking was made in & the date of your stay in the body of the email.

Location & Map

The Thomas Boyd Trackhead camping area is 25km east of Tumut on the Lacmalac/ Goobarragandra Road and is situated on the Hume and Hovell Walking Track.

Directions from Tumut

Starting at the Tumut Visitor Centre - 5 Adelong Rd, Tumut NSW 2720

Head east on Adelong Rd/Snowy Mountains Hwy/B72 towards Capper St - then Continue to follow Snowy Mountains Hwy/B72 for 750 mtrs

Turn left onto Wee Jasper Rd for 650 mtrs

Turn right onto Dowells Ln for 300 mtrs

Turn right onto Bombowlee Ave for 400 mtrs

Turn left onto Lacmalac Rd for 10.2 kms

Continue onto Goobragandara Rd for a further 15.1 kms

You will arrive at you destination on the right.
